Born and raised in the state of Alabama, Artist Ben Smith has always had a passion for the artistic.   Ben received a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2006, and then earned his MBA in 2011- all while pursuing his love of art in his spare time.  Over the past ten years, Ben's work has been featured in several private and corporate collections across the Southeast US.  

In 1995, Ben received 3rd Place in the State for his watercolor- "Secret Garden".  In 1999, he received two awards-- including 1st place at the State Superintendent's Art Competition for his work- "Outback at the Smokehouse" (a rendition of downtown Florence, AL), as well as Best of Show for his watercolor- "Pink Cacti".  While he enjoys numerous works of art and is commissioned for portraits and sports art often, his true passion is classic automobile design.

Specializing in acrylic media art, Ben 's works reflect his faith, family, deep Southern heritage, as well as his love for all things automotive.  His High-Octane artworks are meant to reflect the unbridled passion of auto and motorcycle enthusiasts around the world with vivid color and imaginative composition.
